About Us
Unique, handmade teepee shaped lamps. Designed in Canada!
A teepee is built with 3 poles that are used to anchor the structure. These 3 poles represent the past, present, and future of life. An additional 7 poles are then added around these 3 main anchors in a clockwise position. Each of these 7 poles have specific meanings; such as the Seven Brothers or the Seven Stars of the Big Dipper constellation. Examples of some of these sites would be: the western side of the Black Hills, Devils Tower, Bear Butte and Hells Canyon.
Once all 10 poles are erected, a cover is placed over the entire structure and an additional 2 poles are placed on the outside, which hold the flaps open at the top of the tipi. This helps to regulate the flow of energy and circulates air throughout the inner part of the lodge.
"When you know who you are; when your mission is clear and you burn with the inner fire of unbreakable will; no cold can touch your heart; no deluge can dampen your purpose. You know that you are alive." - Chief Seattle, Duwamish (1780-1866)
